Following the suspension of the Abuja-Kaduna train service on Thursday, October 21 due to an explosion of the track, the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has announced that the train service will resume operations on Saturday, October 23.
Amaechi made this known while inspecting the damages on the tracks on Friday noting that the repairs on the damaged tracks had been completed in record time.
Adding that the government was working with security agencies to forestall a reoccurrence of the incident, he stated that he will meet with the leadership of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Chief of Army Staff to find the people behind the attack.
