Air Peace to Commence Flights Into Anambra State on Tuesday, 7th December.

Air Peace has announced the commencement of flying into the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport on Tuesday, December 7.

This was decided following the recent approval by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

According to the airline’s spokesperson, Stanley Olisa, passengers can now book direct flights from Lagos and Abuja into the state as the airline kicks off with four flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, as it also looks forward to expanding to daily flights.

Olisa also said that passengers can book on Air Peace’s website or its mobile app and also expressed hope that the airline plans to connect the state to other cities soon.

He also revealed that by the end of January 2022, Air Peace will extend flights from Anambra -Kano – Anambra, Anambra-Ibadan -Anambra and Anambra- Port Harcourt-Anambra.

Following the approval of the NCAA for airlines to fly into Anambra state, the Chairman of United Nigeria Airlines, Dr. Obiorah Okonkwo has congratulated Governor Willie’s Obiano as he also announced that his airlines will commence operations at the Anambra International Airport soon.

Recall that the NCAA in a letter addressed to the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano dated December 1, 2021, and signed by the Director-General, Captain Musa Nuhu, the aviation authority granted full Commercial operations (category B aircraft) approval to the state.
