In what has been described as a significant political milestone towards the build-up to the November 8th, 2025 governorship election, Anambra Central Senatorial Zone has unanimously endorsed Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim for a second term.
The declaration took place at Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka and was attended by thousands of enthusiastic supporters, stakeholders, political groups, and party faithfuls.
A spotlight highlight of the day’s event was the electrifying arrival of the Convener of Ide Global 4 Soludo Second Term Support Group, Championed singlehandedly by High Chief Azubuike Augustine Ekweozor of Umuawulu community, in Awka South Council Area of the State.
Chief Ekweozor led a formidable delegation of supporters drawn from the seven Local Government Areas of the Anambra Central Senatorial zone.
Adorned in the signature colors of the movement and displaying visible enthusiasm, members of Ide Global Movement added unmatched energy, organizational glitz and flair to the rally.
In his remarks, High Chief Ekweozor reaffirmed his unwavering support for the continuity of the Soludo administration, stating categorically that “there is no vacancy in the Light House.
According to him, Governor Soludo’s transformational leadership, people-centered policies, and visible developmental strides across the 21 LGAs of Anambra State are worthy of consolidation beyond four years to a second term.
The Ide Global 4 Soludo Second Term Support Group, which has continued to galvanize grassroots support across the state, reaffirmed its commitment to working in every polling unit and wards to deliver a landslide victory for the Soludo/Ibezim ticket. The group emphasized that this is not just about politics, but about preserving the gains of good governance and ensuring that Anambra remains on the path of sustainable development.
