The Anambra State Government has launched a redesigned official website aimed at providing residents, businesses, investors, visitors and development partners with easier access to government services, information, opportunities and channels for citizen engagement.

The new digital platform, available at anambrastate.gov.ng, brings together key government services and digital platforms under one gateway, allowing users to access services, government information and relevant opportunities in a more organised and user-friendly manner.

Unlike a platform focused mainly on publishing government news, the new website is structured around the needs of users, providing pathways for accessing government services, identification services, business registration and reporting of issues.

It also connects users to digital government tools, including SmartGov services and NORA, the state’s digital assistant.

A major feature of the platform is its Open Government section, which provides access to public information including budgets, citizens’ budgets, budget implementation reports, audit reports, procurement plans, contract awards, open data, government documents and Freedom of Information requests.

The website also provides dedicated information for investors and businesses, covering areas such as ease of doing business, public-private partnerships, manufacturing, technology, real estate, agriculture and tourism.

It further provides information on Anambra’s people, culture and heritage, while linking users to relevant government offices and digital systems across Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

The launch forms part of the state’s broader digital transformation agenda, with the platform designed to make government services and information more accessible while strengthening citizen engagement, transparency and access to opportunities.

According to the state government, the platform will continue to be expanded and updated as more government services, information and digital tools are integrated into Anambra’s wider digital ecosystem.

The new digital gateway therefore provides residents and other users with a single online platform to access government services, obtain public information, engage relevant authorities and explore opportunities across the state.
