Anambra Education Commissioner Visits Sports Development Commission, Endorses School Sports Initiative
The Chairman of the Anambra State Sports Development Commission, Mr. Patrick Estate Onyedum, received the Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, at his office in Awka. The visit centered on preparations for the rapidly approaching Anambra School Sports Initiative (ANSSI).
Professor Chuma-Udeh commended the commission for its outstanding efforts in identifying and nurturing young talents across primary and secondary schools in Anambra through ANSSI. She highlighted the unifying power of sports and stressed the need for its continuous growth at the grassroots level to enhance overall development in the state.
Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Onyedum said, “I am pleased to welcome you today and appreciate your dedication to partnering with us. Thank you for this courtesy visit, and I encourage you to keep driving progress in Anambra’s education sector.”
During the visit, Comrade Ken Okoli, Youth Leader of ASATU, presented a framed Anambra Community Values certificate to Professor Chuma-Udeh, recognizing her contributions.
