The Executive Secretary, Local Government Staff Pensions Board, Mrs. Gloria Obiora- Ibezim, has urged the duo of Governor Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachi Ibezim, to work assiduously to surpass the achievements of ex- governor Willie Obiano.
Mrs. Obiora- Ibezim, who spoke on behalf of the board, appealed to the present administration to endeavour to clear the backlog of gratuities of retired primary school teachers and local government workers.
She further stressed the need to enhance the welfare of civil and public servants for increased productivity.
The Executive Secretary of the Local Government Staff Pensions Board encouraged workers to put in their best, while wishing the new governor and his deputy eventual and successful stay in office.
