Anambra FRSC Hands Over Goods Recovered From Thursday 2nd May, 2024 Crash Scene To Owners

The Federal Road Safety Corps, Anambra State Sector Command, on Monday 6th May, 2024, handed over goods recovered fromvthe Scene of a Road Traffic Crash (RTC) which occured around Umuokpu Timber Market, along Awka – Onitsha Expressway on Thursday, 2nd May, 2024, where One male adult was reported killed.

In a Press Release, the Staff Officer, Public
Education, FRSC, Anambra State, ARC Charles Iyiegbuniwe, said the victims of the fatal crash and one Mr. Odoh, who represented the driver of the Toyota Sienna, were present at the Command to identify and collect their belongings.

Mr Odoh who spoke on behalf of the victims, thanked the Federal Road Safety Corps for the high level of professionalism exhibited during the rescue operation.

He also confirmed that their goods were complete and intact, and encouraged the FRSC staff not to relent in their efforts to protect lives and property by keeping the highways safe for all road users.

Speaking on the occasion, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Anambra State Sector Command, CC Irelewuyi Adeoye, advised road users to be responsible road users.

He urged them to always say “NO” to overloading, driving above stipulated speed limits and other bad road usage that could cause Traffic Crash.

Irelewuyi commended the staff and urged them to continue to exhibit high sense of professionalism, responsibility and accountability.
