
Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has approved the appointment of members of the newly established Anambra State
A release signed by Chidimma Ajemba, Head of Media, Office of the Governor on Disability Matters, has Barr. Chukwuma B. Ezewuzie, as Chairman of the Commission.
Barr. Chinenye Okeke, (Deputy Director representing Ministry of Justice) is the Secretary.
Other members of the Commission include Comr. Ugochukwu Ernest C. Okeke, – JONAPWD State Chairman (Representing the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities Anambra State Chapter).
Mrs Anthonia Obianyo – Director Rehab ( Representing Ministry of Women and Children Affairs),
Miss Victoria Okonkwo – Unit Head Ministry of Basic Education ( Representing Ministry of Education),
and Mr Tony Oli, – Representing Anambra State Sports Commission.
Other members of the Anambra State Disability Rights Commission, according to the release are, Bishop Moses Ezedebego – Representing Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN),
Dr Lady Pat Okeke, -( The wife of Chief Godwin Okeke GUO Motors representing Private Sector),
Mrs Eucharia Anekwe – Director Gender Perspective and Social Development Centre ( Representing Civil Society Organisation focusing on Disability Issues),
as well as Mr Williams Ndidika Umeh – Retired Director of Education and Former Head of Department ( HOD) Education and Social Development Local Government Service Commission.
