
Anambra Govt. Sets Up Caretaker Committee For New Auto Spare Parts Market Nkpor
Anambra State government has set up an eleven – member Caretaker Committee to pilot the affairs of the New Auto Spare Parts Market, Nkpor.
Performing the function, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Markets, Evarist Uba, said the inauguration followed the expiration of the tenure of the office of the executives of the market.
He said this was also in accordance with the State Government’s current policy on elections in the markets in the State.
According to a Press Release signed by the Special Adviser, the State Government now oversees and manages the activities of all markets in Anambra State, and reserves the power to dissolve the Caretaker Committee Members at any given time.
He said the appointment of the New Caretaker Committee took effect from Tuesday, 6th February, 2024.
The release enjoined the Committee to work in synergy with his Ministry to achieve a better Anambra State.
The Committeec members are:
1.Chief Stephen Obiora Ofoleh – Chairman

They are now to pilot the affairs of the market for the time being.
