Anambra Govt. Sponsors Free Antenatal Care AND Delivery Services
The Anambra State Government of Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, has undertaken the landmark sponsorship of free antenatal care and delivery services in all her General Hospitals and Primary Healthcare Centres.
In a release, the State Commissioner for Information Sir Paul Nwosu, discribed this as a testament to the welfare offering of Governor Soludo to Ndi-Anambra and stakeholders have continued to applaud Mr. Governor for caring for pregnant women and their unborn children.
The Commissioner maintained that the importance of antenatal care as a necessary process of ensuring a healthy full-term pregnancy and successful delivery cannot be gainsaid.
He informed that to ensure that the welfare scheme is sustainable, three telephone lines have been set up and made available to women in case they are either not satisfied with the services they got or are charged any amount of money for services rendered.

Commissioner Nwosu explained that all these are necessary moves of Governor Soludo’s drive to ensure a liveable and prosperous homeland.
