Anambra State Government has welcomed Ndi Anambra from across Nigeria and the Diaspora returning home to celebrate the festive season with their families and communities.
The Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, in a statement, reminded them that their presence this season strengthens the bond of unity and reaffirms the shared commitment to building a prosperous and liveable homeland.
The Commissioner pointed out that this is a unique opportunity for them to witness firsthand the rapid transformation taking place across ter State under the intentional and transformational leadership of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo.
.He noted that in less than three years, Governor Soludo has embarked on bold reforms and infrastructural development with unprecedented result and urged them to visit and experience some of the landmark achievements such as:
1. *The Anambra Beltway* – a network of *five ongoing dual carriageways* reshaping connectivity across the state.
2. *Ekwulobia Flyover* – a major iconic infrastructure and urban regeneration project changing the face of the city and improving mobility.
3. *Transformed Okpoko* from a neglected slum to a model urban renewal success story; the inhabitants now pride Okpoko as New Haven.
4. *Solution Fun City & Anambra Country Club, Awka* – redefining leisure, hospitality, and tourism in the region. Solution Fun city is the most unique in the world with the four components that are co- located namely: a Water Park, Amusement Park, Family Fun Centre and an Intl Country Club.
*5.The New Ultra-Modern Government House* – a state-of-the-art complex reflecting efficiency and innovation in governance for one stop executive actions.
The Commissioner invited them to also visit any of the *five brand new general hospitals or the dozens of roads and community projects being executed across all 21 LGAs.
The government encouraged the returnees to also support their local communities in helping to upgrade their Agunechemba (community vigilantes) to continue to bolster and sustain security at the grassroots.
Above all, he enjoined the them to continue to support *Governor Soludo* and the *Solution Government* to ensure the momentum of progress is sustained.
