Anambra Police Arrests Three Individuals For Child Trafficking

Anambra State Police have arrested three individuals, including a fake medical doctor, for attempting to traffic 10 children to Abuja. The suspects were caught after police tracked a missing 6-year-old boy and later uncovered a child trafficking scheme. The children, aged 5 to 6, were found malnourished in an apartment in Onitsha.

Authorities have rescued the children and are working with the state government to provide medical care.

The suspects, including Odinakachukwu Okorie and Ifunanya Ogbonna, have confessed, with Ifunanya revealing she sold one child for one million naira.
