Anambra Sports Commission Chairman Attends Gonzaga Jesuit College Inter-House Sports

The Chairman of the Anambra State Sports Development Commission, Mr. Patrick Estate Onyedum, was the Special Guest at the Inter-House Sports competition of Gonzaga Jesuit College, Okija. The event showcased a high level of sporting excellence as various houses competed fiercely for top honors.

Representing Mr. Onyedum at the event, Mr. Elder Aka Chika commended the school’s management, led by Principal Fr. Jude Odika, S.J., for its commitment to excellence in education. He described Gonzaga Jesuit College as a model institution setting the pace in both academics and sports.

During the event, Onyedum introduced the Anambra Sports Solution Initiative (ANSSI) to the staff and students, urging them to actively participate in sports and embrace the initiative’s vision.

He also expressed appreciation to Governor Charles Soludo for his efforts in improving Anambra’s educational system. Encouraging the students, he emphasized the importance of hard work, noting that their achievements in sports were just the beginning of greater successes.

The highlight of the occasion was Onyedum’s presentation of medals and cash prizes to the winners, adding excitement to an already memorable event and further inspiring the students to strive for excellence both on and off the field.
