
Anambra State House of Assembly has passed resolution drawing government attention to the deplorable condition of Some State roads.

The House members urged Governor Obiano to direct the Commissioner for Works and the Managing Director, Anambra State Road Maintenance Agency to commence palliative work to make the roads motorable and save the citizens hardships caused by the road.
The House passed the resolution following a motion sponsored to that
effect by the member representing Anambra West Constituency, Honourable Patrick Udeoba, during plenary.
Honourable Udeoba stressed the need to maintain and patch those roads whose conditions he noted, have been made worse by the rainy season.
The Speaker of the House, Right Honourable Uche Okafor, urged the State Government to direct the Commissioner for works to patch all potholes on
state roads.
