Anambra State Government Reaffirms Dedication To Nurture One Million Anambra Digital Tribe Members

Ms. Chinwe Okoli, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Anambra State on Innovation and Business Incubation, has emphasized Anambra’s commitment to fostering a thriving innovation ecosystem at the 40th International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation, IASP World Conference on Science Parks and Areas of Innovation in Luxembourg. The conference brought together global innovation leaders to discuss “Megatrends in Innovation Ecosystems: What Are the Impacts for STPs & AOIs?” The three-day event allowed innovation hubs worldwide to share best practices.

The Solution Innovation District in Anambra State was highlighted, with Ms. Okoli discussing “Harnessing the Untapped Potential of Anambra Digital Tribe: A Case for Developing Countries.” She emphasized Anambra’s commitment to fostering a thriving innovation ecosystem, aiming to make the state Nigeria’s digital and creative capital. The Solution Innovation District is dedicated to nurturing technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Ms. Okoli reiterated Governor Soludo’s dedication to building the unique district, with ambitious goals of nurturing one million Anambra Digital Tribe members and startups. She called for global partnerships, stating, that the Mantra in Anambra State is “Everything Technology and Technology Everywhere.”

The International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) played a crucial role in the conference, uniting and empowering innovation ecosystems worldwide. It facilitated the exchange of knowledge and best practices, driving global innovation forward.
