Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has embarked on the rehabilitation of some failed Federal Roads in the state .
The government had earlier provided palliatives in Enugu-Amansea-Awka axis.
On Friday, August 12, governor Soludo was at Ogidi, Idemili North LG to resolve the issue of perennial flooding in Ukwu Orji, Ogidi along Old Awka-Onitsha road and tackle the artificial lake which has been life threatening to the community and nearby towns, has equally being causing havoc to users of the road.
The Governor who was in company of some state executives, expressed optimism that the project will be completed on or before 3 months and life and movement of goods and services will return to normal to the community and road users.
The governor also said that his administration has concluded plans to also flag off the construction of 220km of roads across the State at the end of this year’s rainy season.
