
Anambra State House of Assembly has voided the purported employment or ongoing process of employment for the Anambra International Airport and Ministry of Justice .
At the Plenary on Tuesday presided by the Speaker, Hon Uche Okafor, it was resolved that any employment already made or ongoing for the State Airport and Ministry of Justice are hereby cancelled.
The House also resolved that no state fund shall be spent to pay salaries of staff purportedly employed or in the process of being employed at the Anambra Airport and Ministry of Justice respectively.
To that effect the House invited the Commissioner for works, Justice and Chairman of the Anambra State Civil Service Commission to appear before it on Thursday ,15th July, 2021 at 10 am for explanations.
Finally, the House of Assembly will have to re-authorise employment for the Anambra Airport and Ministry of Justice and ensure due process is followed for any other employment.
The resolutions were unanimously accepted through voice note by the Honourable members .
