Anambra State Police Busts Fake Relationship For Fraud Syndicate.

Four people have been arrested for social media fraud in which they lured their victims into fake love affairs with the aim of extorting money from them .

The suspects , as revealed by the Anambra State Public Relations Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu are two men; 36 year old Okechukwu Ogoejiofor, 34 year old Nonso Nwizu and two female ; 21 year old Esther Nwafor and 20 year old Obianuju Nduba , were arrested at Ajakpani village in Umunya, Oyi LGA in Anambra state.

According to Ikenga, the suspects used social media to lure unsuspecting people into believing they were in love with them, only for them to use forcefully obtained nude pictures of the victims to blackmail and extort money from them.

Ikenga said that the case would be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
