Anambra State Police Command says yesterday, at about 3:pm, a good Nigerian brought to Umuchu Police Station, a female child of about 9 years old who simply gave her name as Chinaza Jedeofor, believed to have come from Oka village, Uga, in Aguata Local Government of Anambra State.

In a Press Release, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Haruna Mohammed, said the girl is 3 feet tall, dark in complexion, and speaks only Igbo language fluently.
He said the girl could neither find her way back home nor state where she hails from.
Instead, she kept on mentioning one Aunty Chioma repeatedly.
The State Police Public Relations Officer said the she is currently in the protective care of the Umuchu Divisional Anti human trafficking Unit pending identification of her parents or guardian.
Inview of this, the state Police Command kindly requested the media to dessiminate the massage to enable the biological parents or close relatives identify her.
Mr Haruna appealed to anyone with useful information about the found child to report at Umuchu Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO, Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639.
