
Within few years, Aspire Foundation has successfully hosted tournaments, such as Super 8 tournament and brackish football coaching clinic in two occasions and now Bayern Munich scouting programme with other scouting programmes and here in Anambra over 600 peoples with about 10 teams given opportunity to express their talents and be selected.

As Bayern Munich scouts and coaches are in the capital city of Awka Anambra state to scout young Nigerians to represent Nigeria in Bayern Munich Youth International championships. Aspire Foundation headed by Dr Emeka Okeke has described the programme as one of the many projects of ” My Anambra Football.

Mr Tobechi onwubuche representing Aspire Foundation highlighted during a press conference this evening in Awka Township Stadium that Bayern Munich are here to scout expectional talents from Anambra State and beyond, the partnership with VEO , Anambra state Sports Development Council and Bayern Munich is a fulfilment of promises made by the Chairman Board of Trustee Aspire Foundation Dr Emeka Okeke in taking Anambra state to the top of football echelon.
About 10 different teams across Nigeria are in Awka to select 10 players from Nigeria, Ex-Gemany Int’l and Bayern Munich Legennd , Hans Pfluger with Christopher Lunch will be in hand to pick the best players and also give technical support to coaches in Anambra state.

According to Chairman ASSDC Chief Tony Oli, this has been the vision of the commission to bring the football world to the state, and asked to bring FC Bayern football academy to Africa and to Anambra with the success anambra has made in football development and commend Aspire foundation for their efforts of making the FC Bayern Youth Cup a success and grassroots football.
