According to the Mayor, the solar-powered borehole is a product of a partnership between the Anaocha Local Government and the Obeledu community. “Our administration is intentional about ensuring that every community in Anaocha has access to clean water. This project belongs to the people of Obeledu, and we expect the community to protect and manage it effectively for the benefit of both present and future generations,” he said.

Hon. Ibekwe also commended the unity and harmonious relationship existing among the leadership of Obeledu, particularly the traditional ruler, President General, Onowu, and other stakeholders.
