On Sports,
Arsenal Football Club has officially appointed Andrea Berta as its new Sporting Director.
Berta joins the club after a successful 12-year tenure at Atlético Madrid, where he played a key role in building championship-winning squads. During his time in Spain, Atlético Madrid won two La Liga titles, the Europa League, and reached two Champions League finals.
His appointment follows the departure of Edu Gaspar in November 2024. Arsenal believes Berta’s expertise in squad development and recruitment will help the club maintain its competitive edge in the Premier League and Champions League.
Fans and analysts see this as a strategic move as Arsenal aims for future success under manager Mikel Arteta.
