Anouma pulls out of CAF presidency race, backs S. Africa’s Motsepe

Two candidates Senegal’s Augustin Senghor and Cote’d Ivoire’s Jacques Anouma, have withdrawn from the CAF presidency race.

It was learnt that the 3rd candidate, Mauritania’s Ahmed Yahya, may follow suit any moment.

Their withdrawal may pave way for the South Africa’s billionaire Patrice Motsepe, to emerge as the new CAF President Unopposed on March 12 in Morocco.
