ANSEC Awards Contract For Extension Of 33KVA High Tension Line From Agulu/Adazi Road To Oye Umuona Others

– Installation Of Solar Home Systems In 3 General Hospitals

– Installation Of SOLAr Street Lights ALONg Amawbia By-Pass

– Installation Of Inverter Solar Home Systems At State Secretariat

Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) has approved the release of the sum of Two Hundred and Thirty-Five Million Naira only (N235,000,000.00) for the extension of 33KVA High Tension Line from Agulu/Adazi Road to Oye Umuona in favour of El-Bukelz Nig. Ltd.

The completion period is for the project is four (4) months from the date of payment of mobilization fee.

A release by the state Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu, said that ANSEC also approved the release of the sum of Forty-Eight Million Naira only (N48,000,000.00) for the supply and installation of Six (6) set of 5KVA Solar Home Systems at three (3) General Hospitals, namely – Enugwu-Ukwu, Umueri and Ekwulobia.

According to the Commissioner, the contract was awarded to Unique Chief Omamu Enterprises with the completion period of one (1) month from the date of payment of mobilization fee.

He further informed that the contract for the Supply and Installation of Six (6) Solar Street Lights along Amawbia By-Pass, Amawbia, Awka Capital Territory was awarded in favour of 3XN Renewals, at the cost of Forty-Four Million, Ninety-Eight Thousand, Ten Naira, Forty Kobo only (N44,098,010.40)

The project, he pointed out, will be completed within a period of two (2) months from the date of payment of mobilization fee.

Also according to the release, the sum of Two Hundred and Seventy-Five Million, Seven Hundred and Eleven Thousand, Three Hundred and Ninety-Nine Naira and Two Kobo (N275,711,399.02) was approved for release in respect of the Installation of 24 10KVA and 4 5KVA 48V Inverter Solar Home Systems at the State Secretariat, Awka in favour of PVS Resources Nig. Ltd.

He intimated that the project is expected to be completed within a period of one (1) month from the date of payment of mobilization fee.
