In reaction to the recent attack on Prof. Chukwuma Soludo; former central bank governor and aspirant in the November 6, 2021 Anambra governorship elections, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has condemned the incident, describing the attack as a strange development which did not align with the ideological foundation of the party.

This was contained in a statement APGA National Chairman, Edozie Njoku.

According to him,
The entire APGA family and Ndigbo, in general, condemn the strange development in the strongest terms and condole with the IG and families of the police officers that lost their lives.

While also sending warmest concerns to the family of Soludo and all those that witnessed the attack,
Edozie urged the Nigerian Police to unravel those behind the incidence.

Speaking further, he called for calm in all quarters of the party noting that he will be addressing party members in a few days

Recall that on Wednesday, armed men stormed a gathering of youths meeting with the former CBN governor in Isuofia, killing 3 policemen and kidnapping the Commissioner for public utilities.
The Police has since arrested some individuals in connection with the attack.
