The Awka Deanery 1 chapter of Justice, Development and Peace Caritas, JDPC, had earlier on Sunday, at the St Gabriel’s Parish, Okpuno, found Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, worthy of recognition for his immense contribution to the Catholic faith.
Hon. Dozie, the Federal House of Rep Member representing Dunukofia/Njikoka/Anaocha Federal Constituency and APGA Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial Zone for 2023, who was unavoidably absent was ably represented by APGA Anaocha LGA Chairman, Barr Ndubisi Obiadi.
Presenting the certificate of honour, Rev. Fr. Levi Ndubuisi Ukor, Director JDPC Awka, refer to Hon. Dozie Nwankwo as a friend of the Church, who never looked back when it comes to supporting its activities and programmes.
According to Rev. Fr. Ukor, Onyendozi is a leader who has touched many lives and who is using the instrument of government to bring visible changes to the society.
Appreciating JDPC for the recognition, Barr. Obiadi on behalf of Onyendozi stated that the lawmaker is pleased and humbled by the honour bestowed on him.
He assured them that the Local Government of Awka South where the Parish is domiciled will, by the grace of God, benefit from the democratic dividends that come with his representation, when he emerges in 2023 as Senator representing Anambra Central.
Barr. Obiadi afterwards, made a sizeable financial donation to the church to support its course.
