The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa Ezenwata (Umuchu), has called on Nigerians to embrace the true essence of Easter by living lives anchored on love, sacrifice, and forgiveness.

In his Easter message, Barr. Ezeokenwa urged Nigerians, particularly Christians, to reflect deeply on the enduring values exemplified by Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection. He emphasized that Easter represents a profound call to moral renewal, inspiring virtues such as love, truth, justice, humility, mercy, compassion, purity, peace, and non-violence.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Tony Olisa Mbeki, the APGA National Chairman stressed the urgent need for leaders at all levels to confront the nation’s pressing economic and security challenges with sincerity, courage, and people-centered approach.

He noted that the well-being and safety of citizens must remain the primary focus of governance, particularly in times that demand decisive and responsible leadership.

Acknowledging the resilience of Nigerians, Barr. Ezeokenwa expressed confidence in the nation’s ability to overcome its current challenges through unity, collective responsibility, and a shared commitment to the common good. He called for renewed solidarity among citizens, urging all to contribute meaningfully to the building of a peaceful, just, and progressive society.

He further reiterated that the spirit of Easter, marked by love, sacrifice, and forgiveness, should transcend religious observance and be reflected in everyday conduct and national life.

The APGA National Chairman wished Nigerians a peaceful Easter celebration and prayed that the blessings of the season inspire hope, strengthen unity, and reinforce the nation’s collective resolve to overcome present challenges.
