APGA Sets April 5 for Anambra Governorship Primary

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has scheduled its Anambra governorship primary for April 5, ahead of the November 8, 2025 election. The Expression of Interest Form will cost N5 million, while the Nomination Form is set at N25 million.

Female aspirants and persons with disabilities will receive a 5% discount on the nomination fee. According to a statement by APGA’s National Organizing Secretary, Ifeanyi Mbaeri, the process will begin on February 28 with form sales and conclude on April 5 with a special congress at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka.

Screening of aspirants is slated for March 28 at the APGA National Headquarters in Abuja. The party reserves the right to adjust dates if necessary.
