Arab leaders meeting in Cairo on Tuesday endorsed Egypt’s postwar plan for Gaza, rejecting US President Donald Trump’s controversial proposal to resettle Palestinians elsewhere.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi announced the decision, stating the plan ensures Palestinians remain in their homeland while focusing on reconstruction. The Arab League also called for an international peacekeeping force in Gaza.
Meanwhile, Israel and the US continue to push for Hamas’ disarmament. The situation remains tense, with aid restrictions worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
