The Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, have said that Nigeria cannot survive another four years under the present situation.
The Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, stated this at the opening ceremony of a two-day PDP National Retreat 2021 themed “It’s Time to Rescue and Rebuild Nigeria”.
According to Tambuwal, Nigeria must restructure its polity, economy, security and embrace relative autonomy and decentralisation of power.
He added that the main opposition party can not afford to fail Nigerians as it remains the only credible alternative to the APC.
Tambuwal noted that PDP must strategise to take over government in 2023 as President as the present government had failed Nigerians in recent years.
