The candidacy of Barrister Josiah Ifedi, the People Democratic Party PDP flag bearer for Awka South Two ahead of this weekend house of Assembly election, seems to continues to gather momentum as he was endorsed by Ogbu Obodobo women of Eke Nibo, on Monday 6th March 2023.
In her speech during the endorsement, the leader of the women , Mrs Nnaama described Barrister Ifedi as a philanthropist who has used his God-given wealth to affect the lives of less previledged in the society explaining that his philanthropism has been on for more than 10 years.
Mrs Nnaama confirmed that Chief Ifedi has been paying hospital bills and school fees of children of the poor though without much publicity , assuring him that Nibo women will vote massively for him as he is also their Nwadiana.
Responding, Barrister Ifedi thanked them for the endorsement, assuring them that in his journey to reposition Obizi, He will not leave them behind.
He promised them, that as proud son of the soil, ie Nwadiana Ndi Ezeawulu who also grew up in Nibo, he has taken note of all their challenges and if elected, and will tackle them by bringing them before the government through quality representation.
He how thanked them for their support and prayers made some undisclosed cash donations to support their activities.
