Benue Police command orders special deployment to protect lives, property

The Benue State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Emmanuel Adesina has ordered special deployments to churches, parks, event centres, entry and exit routes in the state to check security breaches during the Easter celebrations in the state.

A statement issued yesterday in Makurdi by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent, SP, Catherine Anene indicated that the Police Commissioner had issued marching orders to heads of formations to ensure the security of lives and property in their various areas of jurisdiction.

According to the statement, the Police Commissioner in his operational order, “directed all Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders and Divisional Police Officers to deploy personnel and other resources to strategic places mapped out in their areas of responsibility, particularly, churches, parks, event centres, entry and exit routes in the state.
