Bitrus Bewarang charge Government, Private sectors to support Maureen Mmadu Kiddies Camp

The immediate past technical director of the Nigeria football federation and former national president of Nigeria coaches association, Bitrus Bewarang has charged government and private sectors to support the Maureen Mmadu Kiddies Camp.

Bitrus who is also a former team managers of plateau united, and General manager, coach of BCC lions of Gboko; a former coach of Kano pillars of Kano, Wikki tourist of Bauchi and Nasarawa United, including, that of Bifar NPA of Lagos and Assistant coach to Westerhof when Nigeria won the Nations cup in Tunisia, and the part of the first technical crew that took Nigeria to world Cup and now retired,
Made this known as the Maureen Mmadu female football Kiddies Camp entered it’s 5th day, where he supervised intensive training of the kids.

Speaking to sports writers, he noted he was there to support Maureen, who happened to be the former assistant coach of the Super Falcons.
According to him, Maureen was trying to give back to the society and is doing well with the state of what he has seen in the camp.
Promising to support her as well, he urged the Government, private sectors and sports stakeholders to support her as she set up the wonderful camp to educate and inspire the kids while grooming them in football.
Noting that if Maureen Mmadu continued, the NFF, CAF, and FIFA will support her because of their growing interest in women football , urging her to continue her good works with other coaches in the camp.

Speaking further, he noted that that interestingly, kids from far and wide came to participate in the camp.
Some of the the girls include; Kammarudeen kadijat – Yoruba, Ekeze mmesoma from Cameroon.

Coach Bitrus Bewarang also celebrated his birthday with some of his birthday mates on camp, encouraging parents to give their kids the early opportunity to play football as the kids learn much faster at a younger age.
He also commended the Hon Commissioner for welfare, women and Children Affairs Lady Ndidi Mezue, for her support, charging her to keep to her words.

Our correspondent, Marvelous Ezenwa, who was also at the camp, also reported that former Super Falcons player, Iwuagu Akudo also made a stop at the venue after seeing the activities on social media and deciding to come see things herself.

Noting that Maureen was her senior and captain during their playing days, she encouraged the kids to put in their all and focus on the game.

Veteran sports administrator and former FA Secretary, Sir Victor Nwangwu was also there to inspect activities alongside Grand master and veteran sports analyst/ commentator, Philip Chike Balepo.

On the same day Odinmaigbo nile Charity foundation visited the Camp, appreciating the movement with bags of rice and some cash money, further pledging their support when needed.

Maureen Mmadu in appreciation thanked all for their support, notably, Coach Bitrus Bewarang and the Hon Com, Lady Ndidi Mezue.
