President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed the immediate past registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Is-haq Oloyede.

The development was part of a series of appointments on Friday that also saw the reappointment of the former executive secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abubakar Rasheed and his counterpart in the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Hamid Boboyi.
Ishaq and Rasheed’s reappointment are for a tenure of five years each, with effect from 1st August 2021, while Bobboyi who was also reappointed, will have his tenure run for four years.

A statement issued by the ministry of Education noted that the reappointments were based on the recommendation of the minister of education, Adamu Adamu.

The statement also confirmed Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, for a second term of four years as registrar and chief executive officer of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), and Professor Promise Mebine appointed the director of the National Mathematical Centre for a tenure of five years.
