Catholic Priest Kidnapped Along Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway
A Catholic priest Rev. Fr. Dr. Chinedu Nwadike, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The ugly incident happened on Friday, 12th August, 2022, at the notorious Umunnochi, along Okigwe – Enugu Road, Abia State.
The report has it that the Reverend Father was kidnapped alongside a seminarian on their way to Enugu for an official assignment.
Rev. Father Nwadike is currently the Deputy Registrar of Spiritan University Nneochi, SUN.
A source said the priest had just left the school when he was abducted, adding also that he had escaped an earlier kidnap attempt along the same road.
