Liverpool have been a long way from the form they showed last season, and last night’s game with Real Madrid was a sign that Jurgen Klopp’s men need to sit up in the game they love to play.
Speaking to Sports BT after the game which saw Real Madrid win Liverpool with five goals to two, Klopp said his men made the perfect start but from that moment Madrid came back into the game, Liverpool were dominated.
He also said that any team that concedes five goals, there has to be an inquest and so there’s going to be a bit of soul-searching for them .
It was an extraordinary night at Anfield, which left Real Madrid on the verge of sealing their place in the quarter-finals.
