The Governorship candidate of New Nigeria People Party ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state, Chief Chukwuemeka Ohajimkpo has felicitated with Anambra women as they commence their 2021 August meeting which will commence from Monday 9th August across various communities in the state maintaining that the historic annual August meetings have been used over the years to initiate a conversation that has reflected positively in the Infrastructural development of various communities across Igbo land.

Chief Engr. Emeka Ohajimkpo, a Philanthropist and a Community Leader, made this known in Awka when a group, Women for Change and Good governance initiatives paid him a courtesy visit at his campaign office in Awka on Monday, August 3rd, 2021, also commended them for the recorded variable achievements as results of the annual meeting.

According to Chief Ohajimkpo, women have continued to exemplify that age-long role assigned to them biblically which is to assist the men, explaining further that many Town Union Halls, General Hospitals, Health Centres including churches we see today were built single-handedly from initiatives and proceeds of August meeting urging them not to lose focus as God will always manifest His faithfulness upon them by blessing them with fruitful children and humane inlaws.

The Governorship hopeful also commended the women for always assisting and standing by their husbands financially, especially now most economies are facing a lot of downturns revealing that in most families, women are usually the breadwinners, urging the male folks to step up their games as women still need petting and encouragement for them to function optimally and support the family economy.

Chief Ohajimkpo also urged the women across the state to vote New Nigeria People Party in the coming election, describing various court and counter court orders flying around most political parties as an act of desperation and a testament that most of those politicians are greedy politicians desperate for taxpayers money which he suggested that those monies spent in securing those controversial judgments, could have been used to fix some, if not most of the potholes in the state roads and even commence new road projects.

Other High points of the courtesy visit were cash donation, group photographs, and handing over of gift items including bags of rice and cartons noodles presented by his campaign director Chief RC NwaDavid who also assured them that the Governorship Hopeful will take out time from next week to visit most churches during the August meeting across the 21 local government council.
