The National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Oye, has assured that President Muhammadu Buhari will not interfere in the forthcoming Anambra governorship election, urging members of the All Progressives Congress, APC relying on the what he called federal might to rethink their strategies because the President would not accede to any request to support the rigging of elections to favour any political party.
Chief Oye said this in an interview with journalists in Amawbia, Awka South Local Government Area, Anambra State on Wednesday during the courtesy visit by the fedral lawmaker from niger state paid him a courtesy visit.
The APGA national chairman berated the comment made by Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma that the APC would take over Anambra State in the November 6 poll “by all means.”
According to Chief oye , some unsculprous elemnts are just painting President Buhari in a very bad light when the president a man who is committed to democrTic process explaining that President Buhari won’t support anything that will cause chaos or crisis in the state but a deciplcine leader who believes in the rule of law further pointing out that he did not interfered in that of Edo.
He said Also that when APC MEMBERS saw the result trickling in, they disappeared before morning ASSURING THAT The same thing will happen in anambra election because anamvraliian have the capacity to protect our votes.
Oye equally noted that the Anambra State Governor, Willy Obiano, should anoint a successor to take over from him according to him the governor had done so well and deserved to be given the right to pick a successor to continue from where he would stop in November.
