Chief With 4 Wives Arrested For Allegedly Raping 14-year-old Girl In Delta
A 50-year-old chief has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl, Ebedei Ukwuole, in Ukwuani local government area of the state.
Detectives from Umutu police station arrested the chief, who has four wives, after he allegedly assaulted the Junior Secondary School class one student twice.
Report said the girl’s mother noticed that her daughter was bleeding excessively,
the victim then, opened up and told her mother what happened.
Investigation revealed that the Chief, a father of several children, allegedly gave the girl N50.00 before luring her to an uncompleted building.
It was gathered that the man had allegedly defiled the girl twice, and allegedly threatened to kill her if she disclosed his illicit act to anyone.
A source said, “The time, he raped her, he did it in an uncompleted building. The third attempt was what exposed him after he allegedly forced her to take drugs unknown to her”.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident.
