Commissioner Onyeka Lauds Gov. Soludo On Transformation Of Awka Into Mega City

The Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Pauly Onyeka, has lauded Professor Charles Soludo’s plan to connect the current Awka City of Amasea, Ntokur with Awka 2 at isiagu axis to realize the desire Mega City for the South East.

Hon. Onyeka stated this while receiving in audience , a delegation from J. C. Michael’s Limited and their overseas partners, awarded the contract for the construction of 1,000 Ultra Modern Lock-up Shops at Isiagu, Awka South LGA,

The courtesy visit took place at the Commissioner’s office at the Jerome Udorji Secretariat, Awka.

Commissioner Onyeka informed that Anambra State Government is constructing 1,000 Ultra Modern Lock-up Shops at Isiagu, through Public-Private Partnership (PPP), with JC Michaels Ltd which is being midwifed by the Anambra State Investment Protection and Promotion Agency .

Hon. Onyeka assured them that the numerous projects being embarked by the state Government, as well as others yet to commence, will be completed to achieve the desired Livable Mega City by the State Government.

He enumerated some of the on-going projects at isiagu to include; building, Construction of an international Hotel, five Ultra Modern Housing Estates being developed by private company and International Gulf Course etc.

The Commissioner, therefore, urged them, that when they are done with the Anambra State investment Promotion and Protection Agency, ASIPPA, they should take the project more seriously so that they will deliver quality shops for the prospective allottees who will benefit from the project.

Earlier in his speech, The Chairman of J, C, Micheal’s Nig Ltd, Mr Jude Amuzie, assured to deliver quality job as stipulated, as they have the experience and capacity, having done similar projects in the past like the Lagos International School at Ajah, Lagos State .
