The Dangote Refinery has made another significant reduction in diesel prices, now offering it at N940 per litre for customers purchasing 5 million litres or more.
This announcement follows a previous reduction from N1000 per litre.
According to the Head of Communications, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, the refinery aims to alleviate the economic hardship faced by citizens.
Customers buying one million litres or more will now pay N970 per litre, while aviation fuel remains priced at N980 per litre. The refinery’s strategic partnership with MRS Oil allows the public to purchase diesel at N1,050 per litre and aviation fuel at N980 per litre nationwide, with plans to extend this partnership to other petroleum marketers.
Chairman Aliko Dangote had expressed the company’s commitment to lowering diesel prices as a means to combat inflation. This latest reduction underscores the refinery’s efforts to make fuel more affordable for consumers.
