Dr Nwankwo understands that Community Policing involves building vertical and horizontal partnerships anchored on trust between the masses and Security agencies on one hand and amongst the masses. He will invest to practically drive home the concept to Ndi Anambra with a view to straightening security relationships, encouraging participation and robust engagements proudly enhancing information and intelligence gathering and conveying the same to the agencies. He will ensure that groups, associations, schools, religious organizations, business classes and communities key naturally into full participation and taking ownership and responsibilities for communal security. He’s conscious of the fact that every criminal is from home, family and community and so will straighten the concept to identify strangers and safely report for profiling and further actions.
His emerging Security architecture is called Total Security Coverage of Anambra State (TOSCAS). It’s an intelligent driven concept where everyone is a participant and a beneficiary.
