Dr Chinedu Umeadi Commiserates With Victims Of Flood Disasters In Parts Of Anambra State Including People Of Ugbenu, Ugbene, Obaofemmili In Awka North And Building Materials Inter. Market, Ogidi Over Flood Menace
The Anambra Central Senatorial candidate of YPP for the forthcoming general elections, High Chief Dr Chinedu Anthony Umeadi, has sympathized with victims of flood disasters in parts of Anambra State.
High Chief Dr Umeadi also expressed his heart felt sympathy for the people of Ugbene, Ugbenu, Obaofemmili in Awka North, over the flood disasters that have destroyed homes and property worth millions of naira.
High Chief Dr Umeadi further commiserated with flood victims at the International Building Materials Market, Ogidi which also destroyed businesses and properties worth billions of naira thereby sending some of the victims out of business.
He charged the Federal and State Governments to come to the rescue of those affected communities and markets within Anambra Central Senatorial District by providing succour to the flood victims as well as finding lasting solution to the ugly situation to forestall future reoccurrence.
Dr Umeadi also noted that the representatives of the zone at the National Assembly and State Assembly have much to do to cushion the excruciating effects of the ravaging flood on the Anambra Central indigenes to enable them return to their normal lives and businesses within the shortest possible time.
