The Convener of Youth Earnestly Seek Soludo (YESS Anambra), Dr Nelson Obinna Omenugha has endowed the people of Umuru Community, Nnobi in Idemili South LGA with portable drinking water.

The Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, His Lordship Bishop Peter Okpalaeke while dedicating the water project prayed God to bless the and reward the worthy son of the town for giving back to his community.

Speaking on the reason for his humanitarian gesture, Dr Nelson told Guests and well-wishers that the project is part of his decision to give back to his community and affect lives positively. According to him, a greater Anambra begins with greater communities. When we make our living communities liveable and better we would have brought about the needed transformation that will place Anambra State on the world map for good.

Dignitaries at the event includes members of the Clergy, Traditional Leaders, Commissioners and community leaders.

The Anambra State Commissioner for Public Utilities, Engr. Emeka Ezenwanne called on young people to emulate Dr Nelson in learning to appreciate and give back to the Society. According to him, This is the kind of thinking young people must imbibe in pushing the frontiers of community development and Nelson has acted like a true onye Anambra in keeping with the Onyeaghana Nwanne ya philosophy of the State.
