organizers of Dubai Expo 2020 has stated that they are committed to the global event as they plan a comeback.
According to reports, the first world exposition to happen in the Middle East was due to open in Dubai, but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Expo, now set to take place between October 1, 2020 and March 31, 2022 , has its theme as Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. The theme is based around mobility, sustainability and opportunity.
Since 2013, billions of dollars have been pumped into the project , to develop both the 1,000 acre site and transport infrastructure throughout the city.
According to reports, the Emirate has high hopes for the Expo as part of it’s efforts to diversify it’s economy and grow the city’s credentials as a hub for innovation.
