The EFCC has arrested Abubakar Ahmad Sirika, brother of former Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika, for suspected corruption related to aviation ministry contracts.

According to report, allegations suggest Hadi Sirika misused his office, diverting over N8 billion through contracts awarded to his brother’s company. Despite regulations, Sirika allegedly favored his brother for contracts including terminal construction and equipment procurement.
Abubakar is in custody, cooperating with authorities.

Last year, Hadi Sirika faced EFCC scrutiny over the Nigeria Air project, accused of misusing N3 billion.
