The Lagos State Police Command has assured residents and visitors of adequate security during the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations and beyond.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, has directed all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, Tactical Commanders, and Intelligence Officers to review their deployment of personnel and resources. This is to ensure the security of strategic and vulnerable locations across the state.
CP Adegoke has also charged the deployed officers to remain professional, courteous, but firm in carrying out their duties. He has also assured that the security architecture will be closely monitored and adjusted as needed to sustain the existing peace in Lagos State.
The Command encourages everyone to be security-conscious and vigilant and are also urged to report any incidents to the nearest police station.
The Lagos Police Command reiterated its commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations and beyond. Residents and visitors are advised to cooperate with the police and report any suspicious activities.
