Enugu to get its first Flyover as Governor Ugwuanyi presents 2021 Budget to Enugu State Assembly

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, on December 9th, 2020  presented the 2021 budget, estimated at over One Hundred and sixty Nine Billion naira. to the Enugu State House of Assembly (ENHA)

The 2021 budget estimate is tagged; “Budget of National Recovery and Continued Growth”.

Speaking, governor Ugwuanyi said 2021 Budget is part of their 8-point agenda, stressing that the 2020 budget achieved most of its set out agenda which made Enugu state outstanding and the fastest growing in terms of the economy in the entire country despite the economic hardship occassioned by the covid19.

Landmark projects in the 2021 budget include the rehabilitation of the 9th Mile Water scheme, completion of the International Conference Center, Construction of Flyover at T-junction by Nike lake Resort centre, Nike Road, Abakpa Nike, Enugu, among others.

He thanked the House for their robust support, and the speedy passage of the 2020 budget.

The speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi, thanked the Governor and assured him that the budget would be passed in a record time.
