Ezeokenwa Preaches Religious Harmony At 14th Anglican General Synod

Christians have been enjoined to maintain religious harmony and be their brothers’ keepers.
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, made the called during the Church of Nigeria General Synod at St. Marks Anglican Church Nnewichi, Nnewi.
The General Synod brings together Anglican Bishops, Clergy, and Church representatives for meaningful discussions and decision-making
The General Synod was marked by its focus on social issues such as poverty alleviation, environmental stewardship, and justice advocacy within the global community.
The National Chairman who was received by the Primate of the Church of Nigeria and the Archbishop Metropolitan, the Most Rev’d Henry C Ndukuba, highlighted the importance of building bridges between religious communities, emphasizing that dialogue and mutual understanding can help dispel misconceptions and strengthen relationships.
He also reiterated the Anglican Church’s commitment to promoting peace and cooperation among different religions.
Ezeokenwa urged attendees to actively seek opportunities for interfaith engagement within their own communities and to promote dialogue as a means to foster greater tolerance and understanding.
