Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has accused leaders of the newly formed opposition coalition of selfish motives, saying their goal is not to rescue Nigerians but themselves.Speaking at a thanksgiving event in Abuja, Wike criticised political heavyweights including Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and others for what he described as political inconsistency and failed leadership.Wike questioned their past records, from failing to conduct local elections to accruing debts and contributing to Nigeria’s corruption image.He claimed many of them had eight years in power but did little for their communities.Wike urged Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s administration and disregard politicians “who failed when given the chance.”He insisted the opposition bloc is politically spent and won’t return to power.
